About Stoney Trail
Stoney Trail (Highway 201) is Calgary’s 101-kilometre ring road freeway. The final southwest leg (Tsuut’ina Trail) opened in late 2023, completing the full loop around the city. The route connects all major radial highways and provides a bypass for through-traffic that would otherwise clog inner corridors like Deerfoot Trail and Crowchild Trail.
